InnovAntennas America to Exhibit at Dayton Hamvention®
The Dayton Hamvention® is the largest amateur radio convention in the United States, drawing tens of thousands of eager ham radio operators to Dayton, Ohio for a weekend of shopping, learning, and social get-togethers.
This year, InnovAntennas America will have two booths in the North Hall, booths 196 and 197, and will be displaying their comprehensive line of high-performance antennas, along with 4O3A filter/triplexer products and SPID rotators. InnovAntennas personnel at the convention will include founder Justin Johnson, G0KSC, InnovAntennas America president Bill Hein, AA7XT, and Chip Margelli, K7JA, IA America's Sales and Marketing Director.

Antenna guru receives RSGB 50MHz award
An internationally-known antenna designer has just received another accolade - this time from the UK's national amateur radio society.
Justin Johnson, G0KSC, founder of InnovAntennas, has been awarded the Harold Rose Plate by the Radio Society of Great Britain.
In a letter confirming the award, the RSGB's Graham Coomber, G0NBI wrote:
Dear Justin
It is with great pleasure that I write to tell you that the RSGB board has agreed that you should receive the Harold Rose Plate. This award is made to recognise an outstanding contribution to 50MHz, in your case for 50MHz aerial design and support of home constructors, DXpeditions etc.
This award is traditionally presented at the society’s AGM, which this year is being held at the IET London: Savoy Place, London WC2R 0BL on Saturday 20 th April starting at 12.00. I do hope that you will be able to be present at the meeting to receive your award. The society will refund UK travel expenses associated with your attendance.
Congratulations on this award – which the Board feels is richly deserved."

InnovAntennas, Ltd. Appointed Exclusive Distributor of SPID Elektronik Products for the U.K. and Ireland
Canvey Island, England and Glade Park, Colorado USA –InnovAntennas, Ltd. (UK) and InnovAntennas America, Inc. today announced that InnovAntennas, Ltd (UK) have been appointed the exclusive distributor for Rotator and other products manufactured by SPID Elektronik Company of Zyrardów, Poland. The announcement was made jointly by SPID President Jacek Bielecki and InnovAntennas, Ltd. President Justin Johnson.
The SPID product line includes four models of Azimuth, Elevation, and combination Azimuth-Elevation rotators, the latter being widely used for precision satellite tracking and EME (Earth-Moon-Earth) "moonbounce" amateur radio applications. New 2013 - The DES-Dipole rotating dipole from InnovAntennas
NEW for 2013 the DES-Dipole A multi-band rotating dipole with no traps, no coils, no matching devices in fact, No Power-Sapping 'heater' devices at all! This means maximum radiating efficiency. In other words, most of your power is transmitted rather then being lost 
somewhere.
DIRECT FEED, 50Ohm !!
There is a single feed point on this antenna, the other bands (the one in the picture covers 15m, 10m and 6m) are parasitic elements. A Standard dipole is normally around 70Ohm and gives 1.4:1(ish) SWR. All three elements on the DES-Dipole (so called due to the OP-DES yagi style elements on the upper bands) compliment each other and ensure a low, flat SWR on each band.
NO POWER LIMIT!
Yes, you can pretty much put into it what you like. So why do antennas have power limits? When matching devices, coils or traps are installed, inefficiencies can creep in. This cause heat. the more power, the hotter they get until.. well, you know the rest! 5KW? No problem!

Stacking 2 or more of these gives excellent performance with GAIN.
COMPACT DESIGN
Due to the deployment of the bent downward elements, the area this antenna covers is no larger than that of a 10m rotating dipole.
